Colorado Mesa University

Residence Life

At CMU, the learning experience goes well beyond the classroom. In particular, our on-campus living options offer you a multitude of opportunities for academic and personal growth in a safe and welcoming community.

Moving away from home can seem like a giant leap, but CMU students quickly find a second home living in our residence halls. By living on-campus, you have the unique opportunity to make connections within the university community. Plus, with the convenience of hassle-free, on-campus living, you can focus on enjoying university life and being successful in and out of the classroom.

The Whole Package Just Minutes from Everything You Need

Learning happens everywhere, and by living on campus, you get the total college experience. You will have the opportunity to build life-long relationships while at the same time, live just minutes from classrooms, labs, the library, dining services, the student health center and the recreation center. You are close to all of the action: sporting events, theatrical productions, and other campus activities, plus area shops, restaurants and recreational areas.

To help build community and add to the vibrancy of the University, the Residence Life staff, Residence Hall Association, and Residence Hall Councils sponsor educational, cultural, social, and recreational programs for residents.

We look forward to having you stay with us in your home away from home.  Our website has information about our halls and apartments, how to get involved, how to apply for a space on campus and campus dining. Please look through our pages and if you still have questions, please contact us.

Please remember that at Colorado Mesa University, first-year and second-year students are required to live on campus. To find out more about the policy contact us at reslife@coloradomesa.edu.
