Welcome to Colorado Mesa University
At CMU, we believe in standing apart from the crowd.
As one of the few universities designated by the state as a selective institution for admissions, we believe in hard work and proving yourself. Our students are intellectually curious and incredibly driven.
We believe that higher education can be more responsive, more demanding and more personal. In today’s complex world our focus is simple: preparing students for a changing world by giving them the knowledge and tools they need to flourish long after they graduate. Our single job is to prepare students, in the words of Thoreau, to go confidently in the direction of their dreams.
Welcome to CMU.
Meet the Ambassadors
Nobody knows the inside information better than our current students, and nobody is more helpful than the students we’ve handpicked to be our Ambassadors. They’re happy to share their experiences, give you the scoop on the campus, and help you through the admission process. Email them your questions. Read their blog. They’re here to help.
